We went there from Italy, I forgot what the date was, We were in Italy for 18 months, we were 1st division troops In February of ‘45 we went to Holland. We were what they call corps-troop engineers, and we did the clean-up we spent most of our time destroying the road-blocks that the Gerries had put on the main highways.
