Motivation 1981
The production of 3 albums were financed by the sale of ad-spaces on their
covers. By raising small amounts of money from a large number of people,
Rene was a pioneer in the practise of crowdfunding. This promotional video
contains footage of Rene's appearance at the popular Dutch television
talkshow, Mies, hosted by Mies Bouwman on November 3rd, 1981, who supported
the idea. Because of this program 400 spaces were sold and the album,
"Motivation", was successfully released.
