EDUARDO TAMI (Buenos Aires, 31-01-1952)
Flautist.
1965: He began his
flute studies at the Conservatory of music “Juan Jose Castro,” where he
had some outstanding Argentine musicians as teachers such as Alfredo
Iannelli, Raquel Arana Ines Gomez Carrillo, Djerko Spiller, Gerardo
Gandini, etc.; from 1972 to 1980 Eduardo performed extensively with the
conservatory’s chamber ensemble, in the city of Buenos Aires and in the
central part of the country; 1980/82: Moved to Montevideo (Uruguay) -
Master classes with Prof. Santiago Bosco; 1982: Moved back to Buenos
Aires. 1st Flute, member of the V.B.A. Symphonic Orchestra.; 1975: Began
teaching selected advanced flute students ; Performing as a popular
music arranger and performer, he toured with several artists all over
the country (Argentina). As a composer, producer and recorder of
commercial music, in 1987, he created and hosted the “Ensamble de Camara
de Vicente Lopez,” supported by the City Hall of the city of Vicente
Lopez and sponsored by several private companies.
Musical Events Organization: 1995-1997: He took part in “Sognare Musica
Internazionale,” an international organization that organized concerts,
festivals, master classes, and facilitated exchanges of Argentine and
Italian musicians; 1997-2001: With Daniel Goldstein, founded “El Sonido
y El Tiempo”, a similar organization that had its main offices in Buenos
Aires and subsidiaries in Sardinia and Milan (Italy); 1998: Joined
pianist Alfredo Corral in a duo, and in 2000, they recorded their CD
“Intermezzo,” which contains works by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos
Guastavino, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert
Schumann and Eduardo Tami.

performances in Argentina: Quilmes Cathedral, Bolsa de Comercio de
Buenos Aires, performing as soloist with V.B.A Symphonic Orchestra
Andreani Auditorium (in Vicente López), Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
de Buenos Aires. Complejo Plaza Theatre (in the city of San Martín)
Teatro Circular (Rosario). Circolo Italiano de Buenos Aires. In
other countries Museo de La Republica de Río de Janeiro (Brazil), Sala
dei Marmi-Palazzollo della Provincia-Pescara (Italy), Sardinia (Italy).
European Tour in September 2001 with the Polish pianist Bartlomiej
Kominek, performing the following dates in different places:

Eduardo has composed two Rhapsodies, one string quartet, and several
pieces for flute and piano

he created the Tami Tango Trío with guitarist Pablo Fauaz, and pianist
