Was stationed in Esquimalt, BC.
Involved with the war against the Japanese.

Royal Regiment of Canada
He was wounded in France and went to a hospital in England.
Returned in November 1944 and was wounded again in the
German forests on February 9th 1945 and went back to
England. After his recovery he returned to Holland and
joined the
Regina Riffles Regiment.
