Telegrams sent to Leonard Ardiel's family first listed him as wounded and then missing. He was killed in action on July 19, 1944, and is buried at Calvados, France.

Baker NED SGT
Ned Baker was killed in action Jan. 2, 1945. He is buried at Choloy War Cemetery in France, created for the re-burial of casualties recovered from northeastern France.
Carr F.H. F/O
Frank Carr joined the air force in 1941. After two weeks in England, he was transferred to Egypt for training. In early 1943, he was killed while on a training flight near Nakuru.
Davies R.H. P/O
Pilot Officer Bob Davies was reported missing over enemy territory on Aug. 17, 1944. It was believed to be only his second operation flight." He has no known grave.
Fennessey F.J. F/O
James Francis "Frank" Fennessey reported for duty with the air force in December, 1941. He was killed April 23, 1944, and is buried in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.
Gordanier H.L. SGT
Harvey Gordanier died March 13, 1945. He buried in Gelderland, Netherlands. Most of those buried here died between the Maas and the Rhine in spring of 1945.
Hicks M.D. F/O
Murray Hicks was reported missing on June 13, 1943 while on his 30th mission. He buried in the Tubbergen (Reutum) Roman Catholic Cemetery in Overijssel, Netherlands.

Joseph Frederick Laycock was killed during a training flight on Sept. 12, 1941, near Tween Hastings Country, Ontario. He is buried in Calgary.
McIntyre J.D. F/S
John Duncan McIntrye joined the RCAF and was reported missing in action Feb. 15, 1943. His name is inscribed at the Runnymede Memorial in Surrey, England.
McIntyre R.M. F/S
Ronald Maitland McIntyre was a wireless operator/gunner. His plane was lost over Dusseldorf, Germany, in the fall of 1941. He is buried at Durnbach Cemetery in Bayern.
Noble A.T. P/O
Archibald Thomas Noble trained as an air bomber. He was killed May 26, 1944 and is buried in Nottinghamshire, England.
Roseland A.W.F/L
Arnold Walter Roseland took part in D-Day operations. His tour was almost complete when he was reported missing in action on July 13, 1944 over France.
Rowles J.P. CPL
James Prosser Rowles served with the Royal Canadian Armoured corps. He died in the Battle for the Rhineland on May 24, 1941, and is buried in the Netherlands.
Renard R. PTE
Ron Renard was killed in action in France on January 25, 1945. He was awarded the USA Purple Heart posthumously for Military Merit and wounds received in action.

Jack Hoggan died Dec. 20, 1944 and is buried in the Ravenna War Cemetery in Italy, which consists of 1,000 casualties lost during the fighting for the Senio line.
Bill (William Alexander) Anderson died on July 25, 1944 from injuries he received in action in France. He is buried in Reviers, France.
John H. Mucha was killed in action July 23, 1944. He is buried in Calvados, France. This cemetery contains many soldiers who died in the Battle of Normandy.
