Tulips are so colorful, and they are a symbol of friendship and true love.

Arranged, improvised and free music for piano and piano trio.

Track 1, recorded on January 10th, 2015. The Rene van Helsdingen trio featuring Ivan Gambini, drums; Giacomo Dominici, bass. Recorded and mixed at the Lunik Recording Studio, Pesaro, Italy. Sound engineer: Davide “Red” Batttistelli.

Track 2, recorded on June 10^th 1989. The Rene van Helsdingen trio featuring Ira Coleman, bass; Gene Jackson; drums. Recorded life at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam as part art of a performance with the Metropole orchestra and Luluk Purwanto & the Helsdingen trio. Re-mixed at the Farmsound Studio, Kabeljauw 8, Heelsum. Sound engineer: Wil Hesen.

Track 3, 6, 10, 14 & 16, recorded on November 29th, 2015. The Rene van Helsdingen Trio featuring: Jeffrey Tahalele, bass; Benny Mustafa van Diest, drums. Special guest on track 6: Tompi (Teuku Adifitrian) Recorded live on the Stage Bus, during MLDspot presents: Stage Bus Jazz Tour 2015, Plaza Senayan, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jakarta, Indonesia. Sound recorded by Rama Trianto, Studio 78, JL. Cinere, Jakarta.

Recorded at Studio van Schuppen, Veenendaal, The Netherlands and mixed at Farmsound Studio, Kabeljauw 8, Heelsum, The Netherlands, April 9, 2002. Sound engineer: Wil Hesen. 2nd takes (un-released basic tracks) from the album Brushes, Luluk Purwanto & the Helsdingen trio.
