Saxophone and trumpet arrangements: Ben van den Dungen and Yarmo Hoogendijk
text editor: Leen Lain Barbier

Can’t put the blame on someone else again.
I can blame the circumstance on the day we met for sure.
It just was not the day
or time to fall in love.
all I can do without your intention to love,
think back of all the good times
that we had before.
Maybe tomorrow it’s the right time
for us to fall in love.
Just can’t understand myself.
no
I think this time I say
maybe tomorrow.
Maybe tomorrow my chances will change.
You know I can blame someone else instead.
(Instrumental)

It takes some time for me to understand.
I don’t need to be the best.
let me go from town to town.
Tell me what could be wrong.
Just simply need to love each other.
Can’t put the blame on anybody in my life.
I don’t like it,
I really don’t

Maybe tomorrow is the right time for us to fall in love.
Now I understand myself.

Still I think I say
maybe tomorrow.

Maybe tomorrow
It takes some time for me to understand.
I don’t need to be the best tonight.
Maybe  maybe tomorrow maybe tomorrow.

Choir:
It takes some time for me to understand.
I don’t need to be the best tonight.

“You say”
Composer/ Author: Asai Harum
Music arranger: Rene van Helsdingen, L.L. Purwanto
text editor: Joost Timp

you say
you’ll never want somebody else.
Never will you be,
with another man.
Not even a friend.
No one stands a chance.
This is all you need.
Only you and me,

we’re gonna make it,
cause we feel it.

Baby tell me
one more time.
I am yours.
You are mine.

You say
you like it when I give to you,
everything I have.
You can have it now.
I won’t hold it back.

if it makes you happy,
it makes me happy too.
Take the old and new

It’s like a dream,
it’s a dream

Baby tell me
one more time,
I am yours,
you are mine.

You say sweet things to me.
You always make me feel so happy

I love you.
Tell me I am all you need.
You make my dreams come true.

(Baby tell me one more time
just how much you want me near you.
Tell me like the other time.
Tell me so that I can hear you.) 2x

You say
you never want to be alone.
Never leave my side
Everywhere I go
you will go along.

Taking care of me
you are very sweet.
Everyone can see
it’s you and me,
now and then.
Baby tell me
one more time.
I am yours,
you are mine

4) “I‘m talking to you”
Composer/ Author: Asai Harum
Music arranger: Rene van Helsdingen
text editor: Collin Scott

Now
now is the time
when you feel your heart beat
start to rhyme.
I can’t see inside
when someone
somewhere
somehow
sometime
makes you wanna break right down and cry.

Now, the days pass by.
I don’t see the love life in your eyes.
Hear me when I say
love on
love on and on.
Can’t you see sweet things inside your heart.
Can’t you feel sweet love deep inside your heart
It can make you smile till the end of life

This is the love special way that I feel
talking to you.

(instrumental)

I can see sweet things deep inside my heart
I can feel sweet love deep inside my heart
I can feel it laugh
I can feel it smile till the end of this life
Through this special moment that I really feel
that I really feel.
(Instrumental)

Now
now is the time
when you feel your heart beat
start to rhyme.
I can’t see inside
when someone
somewhere
somehow
sometime
makes you wanna break right down and cry.

talking to you (3x)

5) “It‘s alright”
Composer/ Author: Asai Harum
Music arranger: Rene van Helsdingen, L.L. Purwanto
text editor: Janice Lakers

As I walk alone
around this lonely town
I remember all the things that let me down.
It’s been a long time 5 years on.

On and on, on and on
It’s alright, it’s alright.

As I walk alone
passing through this city,
I remember all the games but no pity.
It’s been a long time 5 years on
On and on, on and on
It’s alright, it’s alright.

And I see him walking alone in the rain.
He doesn’t want to be with another girl (another girl)
It’s been a long time 5 years on
on and on and on
it’s alright, it’s alright.

I see you (you)
You’ve got the blues that you can’t hide away, hide away
come on home (home)
just come on home
back to where you belong
uuuuuu uu
Love, .don’t stay away much longer
Please won’t you

open up your mind
to what I say.
I know when you went away
you could not stay, he.
But that was then, now it is today.
You have left it too long (far too long)

Do you think now somehow,
someday, you could come home to stay
I say

you (you) change your life, turn upside down
change your life (change your life)
Upside down (down)
nobody knows how much you really lost.
uuuuuuuuuuuu

Love, don’t stay away much longer.
Please my dear,
open up your mind to what I say.
I know people feel that way
(You) could not stay, he
you,
but that was then,
now it is today
you have left it too long (yes to long)
please find a way somehow (somehow), someday (someday)
please come home to stay
(instrumental)
