Influenced by: people, his family, Joni Mitchell, Jaco Pastorius, Motown bassist James Jamerson, Mozart, Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

1974 ,Latin Jazz group SIGHT. /Touring Hollland and Africa, including a performance at the Tabarka Jazz Festival, Tunesia, 1974. (other groups featured during this festival were: Weather Report, Frank Wright, Kenny Clark trio)

1977-78  JAN AKKERMAN/ Touring Holland, Germany and Scandinavia including: recording; Jan Akkerman 1977; live recording at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Suisse; "Live in Montreux 1978" also featuring Jasper van 't Hof, Neppy Noya, Bruna Castelluci and Joachim Kuhn; Jan Akkerman Band 1979 featuring Rob Franken and Henk Zomer.

1978 -80 ALDO ROMANO, including a recording at the 1978 Montreux Jazz festival featuring Didier Lockwood, Bob Malach and Jasper van 't Hof. Also appearing on "Night Diary", featuring Aldo Romano, 1980.

1979 - 82 FARRAGO jazz Quartet, featuring Ben Gerritsen, Henk Zomer . Including a live recording on 'Sesjun', Dutch Radio (Tros, hosted by Dick de Winter)

1076 -1980 HANS DULFER including performances at the North Sea Jazz Festival The Hague, Holland.

1981-90 HERMAN VAN VEEN. Touring through Europe and America, including performances at:on Broadway for 8 days; the Carnegie Hall. (special guest: Cary Grant)  Also appearing were Frank Sinatra and Milton Nascimento; L'Olympia in Paris - 1983; touring  East Germany - 1984.

1985 PILLI PILI, featuring Eef Albers, Jasper van ' Hof and Angelique Kidjo.

1990 - 92 PAUL VAN VLIET, including performances in Holland, Dutch Antilles (92), Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.

1990 - 2000 Performances with Ronald Snijders - Black Straight Music -; Franky Douglas - Sunchild; Luluk Purwanto & the Helsdingen trio, and many others:
