International Jazz Group to Present Two, Free Concerts 09-04-02An extraordinary, international jazz ensemble is coming to Shenandoah to present two, free concerts. Luluk Purwanto and the Helsdingen Trio perform Monday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Smith Library Plaza. The concerts are free and open to the public. Purwanto, from Indonesia, sings and plays jazz violin. She performs with the Dutch Helsdingen Trio – Marcello Pellitteri (drums), Essiet Okon Essiet (bass) and Rene van Helsdingen (piano).
