Tisa Ho is Executive Director of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, a position to which she was appointed in 2006. The Hong Kong Arts Festival was launched in 1973, and presents about 100 performances by international, regional and local artists in music, theatre and dance in February and March each year, to an average ticketed audienceship of about 100.000. The Festival is an important Hong Kong brand and a major event in the region. Tisa grew up in Hong Kong and trained in arts management at the City University, London. Her previous professional experience includes policy and infrastructure development, as well as marketing and curatorial responsibilities for the 1988 and 1990 Singapore Arts Festivals, and management of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Victoria Concert Hall between 1991 and 1999, during which she helped to set up the Alliance of Asia-Pacific Region Orchestras.  In 1993, she helped to conceptualise and launch the annual Singapore International Piano Festival.  Her media work has included anchoring a Sunday Morning TV magazine and managing a new radio station.  Tisa is also an editor and author with eight published titles.
