about JakArt@2002 organizers

There are hundreds of people involved in organizing JakArt and it is only because of the invaluable involvement of these many volunteers that this festival can happen. JakArt is an independent grass-roots organization. It is a collaboration of hundreds of artists, arts activists, patrons and lovers of art, and concerned citizens. As a non-political, non-partisan, and non sectarian organization it aims and tries to work with as many organizations and associations (both governmental & non governmental) as possible. Many volunteers are involved in directing, coordinating and implementing JakArt's many programs and activities.
