Mr. Morris would like to pay tribute to
Private James Rhodes
(killed in
action - June 23, 1944)
Mr Morris met a person in Nijmegen, Holland in 1944. A young
man who was working with the Newspapers. This young man sat
in Sol's scout car during the liberation. The father in law
of the person was a baker working for the Dutch underground.
He was hiding many jews.
A squeeler told the nazi's about the baker and the hiding
place.
The baker was put in a concentration camp for 18 month. The
young man killed the Squeeler.
Mr. Morris would like to find members of the family of the
baker in Nijmegen. |
